Have you always wanted to learn to fly, or know someone who talks about learning but hasn’t yet taken that first exciting step. An introductory flight package is just the thing to get you started on the path to flying solo, but without that full commitment up front.

In this flight training package, you will become a member of a gliding club and the Gliding Federation of Australia (a legal requirement) for three months, and receive ground briefings and hands on flight training from qualified gliding instructors.

Gliding provides the perfect mix of elegant flying, gentle exhilaration and the friendly atmosphere at the gliding club makes for an unforgettable experience.

After being issued with a Pilot’s Logbook and the Basic Gliding Knowledge text, you’ll begin hands on flight instruction on your first day – commencing with ground briefings on aircraft controls and instruments, and then in flight training covering effects of controls, coordinated turns, aerotow, flight planning, circuits and approach and landing.

You will be soaring on thermals in the same way as birds. In fact, with no engines to scare them away, don't be surprised if you are joined mid-flight by a local Sea Eagle!
