If you have always wanted to try abseiling and rock climbing but never had the opportunity, then get a group together and join us on one of our programs! We run half-day programs for beginners at the spectacular Wilyabrup sea cliffs just north of Margaret River. The stunning red granite sea cliffs overlooking the Indian Ocean are an amazing place to experience abseiling and rock climbing in the South West.

We start by introducing you to the safety aspects of the activity before giving you all the skills you need to take on your first abseil. As your confidence builds we move on to the challenge of the 40m abseil on Steel Wall. After a morning tea break we introduce you to the basics of rock climbing and you can choose from various routes graded from easy to moderate which means that everyone will get to the top.

If you are lucky you might see Bottlenose Dolphins surfing the waves or Humpback Whales broaching just offshore.

Experience Details

Fitness and Experience

No experience is necessary and the minimum age is 10 years
This program is open to everyone who has a reasonable level of fitness

What to Bring/Wear

Old, comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Long pants are best
Boots or sandshoes. Shoes must be enclosed
Hat, sunscreen and sunglasses (Hopefully it will be sunny!)
Waterproof jacket and a warm top (If it is not!)
A hair tie if you have long hair
At least one litre of water per person, two is better
Any required medication
Your camera

What is Supplied

A half day abseiling and rock climbing adventure for up to 6 people including all the equipment needed.
Morning or afternoon tea.

More Information

In summer we usually run from 7:30am and in winter from 8:00am. Please let us know which day suits you and we will try to accommodate you.

To get to this adventure we can pick you up from your accommodation in Margaret River or you can meet us either at the Tourist Bureau in Margaret River or on the way to the site.
