Aerobatic Warbird Flight, 20-min Basic Aerobatic - Sydney
Take a 20-min aerobatic flight with this Sydney warbird! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be given a pre-flight safety briefing. The briefing includes an overview of the flight detailing what you can expect and how to get the most out of your aerobatic experience.
After take off your pilot will fly straight and level as you make your way to the designated aerobatics training area. This gives you a chance to settle into the flight, and get a birds eye view of the surrounding area, and get used to the sound and feel of the powerful ex-military airplane.
Then the fun begins... Your pilot will take you through the basic manoeuvres of aerobatics and air combat (loops, aileron rolls, barrel roll and ½ cuban eight).
This warbird flight is approximately 20 minutes. The total experience is around an hour in duration.
Fitness and Experience

- The maximum height is 190cm
- We recommend a minimum age of 12 years
What to Bring/Wear
- Comfortable clothing suited to the weather on the day is recommended
- Wear sturdy enclosed footwear
- Wearing a peaked cap, sunscreen and sunglasses can help keep the sun off on sunny days

The Nanchang CJ-6 General Information and History
The CHUJIAO 6 (CJ-6A) Fighter Trainer is made by the Nanchang Aircraft Company in Nanchang China. In the late 1940s China made moves to replace the YAK18s then in service, the final result was the CJ-6A
CJ-6As are usually used by the airforces of China, India, North Korea and Sri Lanka as a basic and advanced military trainer. The pilots of these Air Forces learn to fly in the CJ-6A and also learn basic military tactics and instrument flight in the aircraft. The students progress to a jet aircraft after completing their training in the CJ-6A.
This aircraft is also armed and used for light ground attack by the Chinese Air Force.
