Experience the ultimate roller coaster ride! Enjoy breathtaking scenery and the flying experience of a lifetime as you fly over the picturesque Newcastle and Hunter Valley region. Upon arrival at the airport you will be briefed on your flight. The briefing will take about 10 minutes (informal). The briefing gives you an overview of the flight and what you can expect. Your Super Thriller Flight has a total turn around of 30 minutes - tour the lower valley and then get set for some real fun! The flight will involve a full range of aerobatic manoeuvres which all add up to one huge roller coaster ride!!! The flight can be as tame or as wild as you wish, just let the pilot know and he will fly accordingly. You will be flying in a Pitts Special - an open cockpit bi-plane. It looks similar to the old WW1 fighters. Don't be deceived, this plane is in fact a modern design, open class aerobatics plane that will have your head spinning with its snappy rolls and turns.

The experience on the day was excellent. The pilot was calm and friendly and excuded an air of competence (which is always pleasing to see). Pilot was very informative during the flight, especially during the aerobatics. I was always preepared for what occurred due to these instructions. Was a fantastic experience and am very grateful to all involved.

- There is no need for any previous flying experience
- There is a weight restriction of a 110kg
what to bring/wear
- Loose comfortable clothing suitable to the weather on the day
- Wear sturdy, enclosed shoes
- Sunglasses are a must as the glare off clouds can be quite severe
- Windproof jacket and scarf
- Remember your camera to snap a few photos before and after your flight

Weekends are most popular but we run any day of the week at your request. The skies at Maitland are much less crowded than those above Sydney so if you are close to the Newcastle region or fancy spending some time in Hunter Valley, aerobatics will certainly set off your trip. A DVD of your flight is available for purchase ($140.00) this must be pre-ordered. Please make a note on your booking form if you would like us to arrange this for you.
