Live your Top Gun fantasies with a air to air combat flight! After you're kitted up in your Nomex flight suit and Jet Fighter-style helmet, mission control will brief you on your upcoming sortie. Then it's out to the airstrip to get familiar with the Yak-52 military aircraft. Designed originally as a military trainer, this aerobatic-capable aircraft is incredibly maneuverable and agile.

Your Yak-52 flight simulates a typical Pearl Harbour bombing raid, air combat between the famous American P40 Kittyhawk and the fantastic Japanese Zero fighters. The flight involves formation flying, air combat tail chases and aerobatics. Each aircraft is fitted with a smoke system so that when you have your victim in the gun sites it sets the smoke system off in the other aircraft letting you know that you can claim a hit. Airborne flight time 25 mins.

More Information

When and where can I fly? Flights are available 7 days a week except ANZAC day and Christmas day from 8.00am until dusk. Flights operate from Archerfield Airport in Brisbane.

Please note that all passengers will be required to sign an acknowledgment of risk stating that they understand and agree that;

- This is an ex-military aircraft
- Persons fly in this aircraft at their own risk
