Experience the anticipation as you shuffle closer to the edge and prepare to launch yourself from the safety of the platform with a bungy cord connected to your ankles.
As you tip yourself over the edge, the ground hurtles toward you, the air is rushing past you, it seems like it’s all in slow motion, suddenly you are on your way back up, almost as if you were flying.

This is adrenalin at it’s best. Bungy jumps originated in Pentecost Island in the New Hebrides, where a local tribe of natives performed their manhood-rites by jumping off a 25 metre high bamboo tower with a stiff stem of liana tied to their feet.

Modern bungy jumps originated in New Zealand at the end of the 80s, when the first jumps were performed using a rubber rope.

Now it’s your turn to take the challenge and confront your fear barrier. Cairns is one of the best places in the world to enjoy the Bungy experience.

Bungy Jumping is for anyone looking for an awesome rush
However, in order to meet our strict safety standards we have certain restrictions: You must be 10 years or over (10-18 years parental/guardian consent is required)
You are unable to participate if you are pregnant
We may need to ask you some basic questions about your health
Should you have any doubts it is best to consult your doctor

What to Bring/Wear

Wear comfortable clothing suitable to the weather on the day
Friends to share the experience with $10.00 surcharge to defray the cost of public liability insurance and risk management

When and where can I jump?
The Bungy Tower is located 15km north of Cairns city in the foothills of Saddle Mountain.
It is surrounded by lush tropical rainforest with panoramic views out to Green Island, The Northern Beaches & The Great Barrier Reef.

What about transport?
An air-conditioned Bungy Bus provides transport from all accommodation houses.
Return transfers from Cairns and the Northern Beaches are free for participants.
Situated near the James Cook University, the Bungy Tower is easy to find and get to, even by own car or public transport.
