price: AUD $750.00

If you are looking for a milder adventure then canoeing the Blackwood River is for you. The Blackwood River it the largest river on the South West and it meanders through a stunning national park. In the summer months the paddling is easy in bright sunshine with some small chutes to navigate.

You can take the opportunity to work on your tan and enjoy a swim. In the winter months there are a few rapids and a good chance you will get wet! We start by teaching the skills needed to get you down the river in style. Safety aspects will be covered and you need to demonstrate your skills before we head down the river. We stop on the riverbank for a morning brunch of gourmet rolls, cakes slices and hot and cold drinks. There is a profusion of wildlife including parrots, a variety of waterbirds and reptiles.

We finish in the early afternoon to get you back in time to relax for the late afternoon.
