Canyoning, Tiger Snake Canyon, Introductory - Blue Mountains
As your day unfolds, there are four abseils to conquer (the longest is approx 25m). By the end, you will be an abseiling champ with the necessary skills to tackle more advanced canyons. The walk in is about 40 minutes of easy trail walking. Within the narrow canyon you will be constantly surrounded by breath taking scenery including splints of golden sunshine reflecting off age-old rock formations and through vibrant green plant-life.
Lunch is served inside a large open cavern offering the opportunity to relax and soak up the serene atmosphere before beginning the scramble out. Build up those sugar levels for the steep 200 metre section followed by a 50 minute hike through Australian gums and scrubland, back to the car park and your warm, clean clothes!
Important Information
