SCUBA Diving, 2 Day 1 Night Certified Dive Trip - Great Barrier Reef, Cairns
Included is 5 day dives and 1 night dive, the use of the dive equipment, dive computers and night torches, wetsuits, accommodation and all meals whilst on board the boat and transfers to and from the wharf to all Cairns city accommodation places (unless within a short walking distance).
You will see a vast array of hard and soft corals, great drop-offs, exciting walls and swim - throughs. Our dive sites have been selected for their diversity and abundance of marine life, with their magnificent array of coral formation, giant clams and brilliantly coloured fish. Our great number of dive locations allows us to pick the right dive spot for any particular day, making it as enjoyable as possible for our passengers. We visit reefs such as Milln Reef, Moore Reef, Thetford Reef and Briggs Reef, all of which are located approximately 65 kilometres off the coast of Cairns.

Fitness and Experience
- You need to be a certified diver to dive at this level
- You can wear contact lenses while diving however they must be soft, disposable or gas permeable and not hard lenses
- Conditions such as Asthma, Epilepsy, Diabetes, major heart problems or any eye operations or lung damage may not allow you to dive
What to Bring/Wear
- You will need to bring your swimmers, a towel, sunscreen, a book or magazine to read, and a hat
- You will also need to bring your overnight gear. No more than a small overnight bag on the boat please
- You need to be a certified diver to dive at this level
- You will need to bring your certificiation card and log book
What is Supplied
- All meals (most dietary requirements are catered for) and linen are included whilst on the boat, but you will need to supply your own towels (one for showering and one for snorkelling or diving)
More Information
There is an additional Port reef and Fuel levy of $15 per person payable on the day.
Guided dives are $11 per person/ per dive extra. The only time a person will be required to have a guided dive will be on their first dive on our boat (free of charge) and their first ever night dive and if our instructors feel their ability warrants it. People are more than welcome to bring their own equipment however, this will not effect the price of the trip.
Each of the 16 cabins (twin, double or 4-berth) is fully air-conditioned, carpeted, has its own en-suite facilities and window. There are no extra costs for a twin or a double room, the rooms are booked on a first come first serve basis and allocated at the time of booking. The boat also offers an enclosed air-conditioned sun lounge as well as an open and shaded sundeck.
