Fitness and Experience

More Information

A DVD of your flight will be available for purchase on the day of your flight for $195 (standard) or $235 (deluxe). Eat regular meals prior to flight, avoid overeating, fruit juices or excessive fluid intake two hours prior to your flight. Get a good nights sleep and avoid excessive alcohol the night before.

Please note that all passengers will be required to sign an acknowledgment of risk stating that they understand and agree that;

- This is an ex-military aircraft
- Persons fly in this aircraft at their own risk
- This aircraft has been designed for special military operations
- This aircraft is not required by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority to be operated to the same safety standards as normal commercial passenger aircraft

History: Grandchild of the propeller-driven taildragger Hunting Percival Provost trainer aircraft, and close sibling to the Jet Provost Trainer, the 2-seat jet propelled BAC167 Strikemaster multi role attack aircraft was deemed especially suitable for advanced training, counterinsurgency, ground attack and reconnaissance functions.

A direct derivative of the Jet Provost T Mk5, the STrikemaster was modified with an upgraded engine, wing hard points, a strengthened frame, new comminucation and navigation gear and shortened landing gear. 

It has a rugged well-proven airframe with the same 'g' clearance when fully armed as when clean, and an ability to operate from rough airfields. This Strikemaster is one of 16 aircraft used by the Royal New Zealand air force, and is capable of flying a range of missions from ground attack to fighter combat, including the full spectrum of aerobatics.
