Ride one of our Kawasaki Z750 motorbikes on this full-day motorcycle trip combining beautiful Australian outback scenery with some real, spirited riding. You will be given detailed trip notes which allow you to complete a self guided tour of this spectacular region.

The self-guided tour begins by heading towards Canungra, a motorcycle hot-spot where hundreds of motorcycles gather each weekend for a getaway. This is one of Queensland's favourite meeting spots for motorcyclists, and hundreds of motorbikes of all kinds zoom by as we enjoy an early morning coffee or snack.

From here we follow a planned route, passing the breath-taking Mt Tamborine, making a few stops at various fabulous viewpoints. Depending on the day, we could see hand gliders and base jumpers jumping off the side of the mountain - this part of the motorcycle trip is filled with beautiful hidden spots known only to locals.

After cruising around the mountain comes a time to really “put the pedal to the metal”, or in this case, twist open the throttle! Your motorcycle tour heads through adrenalin pumping corners where the motorcycle becomes parallel with the road underneath it. This part of Queensland is just unbelievable and to ride through these roads is simply fantastic.

The final, and perhaps Queensland's most favourite motorcycle touring destinations, is Springbrook. It is said that if you climbed high enough, you can see the curvature of the earth from this spot. The hike takes some 5 minutes, but it is definitely worth it - a welcome break after being in the saddle for most of the day.

After resting your legs a bit and enjoying the breath-taking view, you'll head back to the coast. This time, you'll ride by the beach cruising down The Esplanade, ending the trip in style. It is a once in a life time experience and we are confident that you will rave to your friends about it.

Fitness and Experience

Minimum age 21
You must hold a current Motorcycle license to operate a 750cc motorbike
0.00% blood alcohol level
Must not be under influence of drugs
Please get a good night's sleep before your trip, and avoid any alcohol the night before
A good breakfast before you set out is advisable

What to Bring/Wear

Jeans or full length pants must be worn
Hard soul shoes or boots which cover the ankle are preferred
Must not have any loose items such as a purse. Only 1 backpack per bike allowed
Rule of thumb – if it doesn’t fit in the pocket, and you don’t have a secured backpack to put it in, don’t bring it
No food or beverages allowed on tour as we will make regular pit-stops
If you own your own riding gear, and would like to use it, please bring it with you. All safety gear must be according to Australian standards and in prime condition
Bring money for tea and coffee stops and lunch
Credit card for $1500 insurance bond pre-authorisation (you will not be charged this amount)
Riders aged 21-25 can travel with a $1700 pre-authorisation but do so with limited 3rd Party insurance (rather than fully comprehensive insurance)

Racing Jacket with full body armour for rider and pillion
AS1698 Approved Full Face Helmet for rider and passenger
Racing gloves with armour for rider. Standard motorbike gloves for passenger
15 minute safety instruction at the beginning of the trip
Pit-stop breaks throughout the day for snacks, beverages, lunch and refreshments at your own expense
1 pillion passenger can join in for an additional $50 (click here to see the adventure for 2 people)
Friends with motorbikes can join you for a nominal $25 guides fee, payable on the day (they must hold a valid and current drivers license, insurance and registration to operate their motorbike in Queensland)

More Information

This is a self-guided tour. We recommend you depart 8am sharp and return 4.30pm every Saturday and Sunday.

Your ride for the tour is a real 2009 model Kawasaki z750. It's 750cc of pure adrenalin, just perfect for this trip. All the safety gear, fuel and safety tips are provided for each tour.
