Salt Lake Safari, Full Day (up to 4 people) - Alice Springs

One for the adventurous! Spend the day really seeing the Red Centre! Departing from Alice Springs Airport, you will head towards Glen Helen flying over the local ranges, gorges, Mt Sonder & Finke River. You will then stop at Glen Helen Resort and enjoy the picturesque walk to the colourful Gorge and its unique beauty. From Glen Helen, you will fly on to Kings Canyon (Watarrka), passing the ancient meteorite crater of Gosse Bluff, whilst enjoying spectacular views of the Gardiner & James Ranges. You will then head south west for a flyover of Uluru & Kata-Tjuta National Park, a brief ‘pitstop’ at Connellan Airport and then take to the skies again. Next stop… lunch! You are flown north to a truly unique outdoor ‘restaurant’ with a saltcrust floor! Lake Amadeus provides an amazing setting for a gourmet picnic and some time to relax. After lunch it’s ‘up & away’ homeward bound for Alice Springs. A highlight of the return trip is a flyover of the ‘oasis in the desert’, Palm Valley before landing back at Alice Springs Airport. Truly a journey like no other!
