Helicopter Scenic Flight, 5-minute City Flight - Perth
A scenic helicopter flight is the perfect way to explore the great diversity that Perth has to offer. See more of Perth in minutes than in days by road! On arrival to the helipad you will be given a short safety briefing before climbing into the Bell Jetranger. On take off you will notice that the helicopter is much smoother than light aeroplanes with large windows and no wings to block your view. You will be flown low and slow so your camera lens is filled with spectacular scenery you have paid to see. Your flight path will take you along the majestic Swan River as you climb over the famous Kings Park. Head north to the suburb of Subiaco, home to Subiaco Oval, one of the largest stadiums in Australia. Head east across the city to Burswood Resort Casino and Herrison Island and then to the peninsula on the river for more river views before setting down back at the helipad. This 5 minute trip gives you an idea what a helicopter ride is like with a beautiful view.

This flight was a suprise for my son Thomas (whom is nearly 17 and was born with Down Syndrome) Thomas is a very adventurous young man, and whilst his younger brother was away visiting their Dad in Sydney, I wanted to suprise Tom with something really special before we went back to school after the school holidays! A quick flight over Perth was just perfect! Paul the pilot was extremely reassuring when Tom kept asking if it was safe! Paul asked Tom if he had flown in a plane before,(which he had, several times), but nothing beat the special experience of seeing his home city, (with Pauls great commententry and perservance).! A fantasic short once in a lifetime experience to share with and suprise and have fun with , with someone you love very much!

- This flight is available to anyone who enjoys the eagle eye view of Perth city
- Participants under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
- Partially able or wheelchair equipped customers should note that embarking/disembarking the helicopter will be similar to climbing in or out of a four wheel drive
- Those with any medical history should seek advice from a GP before travelling
what to bring/wear
- Wear loose comfortable clothing, suitable to the weather on the day
- Wear sensible footwear, no heels
- Sunglasses are a good idea as the glare off clouds can be quite bright
- A camera and/or video camera is highly recommended
