This 1 hour Scenic and Whale Spotting flight will give you a whole new perspective on these magnificent creatures.
The coastal waters off North and South Stradbroke Island have long been considered some of the best whale spotting areas that Australia has to offer.
Departing from Archerfield Airport, your experienced and friendly pilot will take you east to Redland Bay hopping between the beautiful turquoise waters of Macleay and Russel Islands.
Once you are Oceanside of North Stradbroke Island you will fly north and south of Stradbroke Island where you and your pilot will keep a keen eye out for whales.
As whales are wild animals, sightings of course can not be guaranteed, however your 1,000ft above sea level vantage point gives you the best possible chance of seeing these majestic giants of the ocean. Your return flight is over the cane fields and the exotic Jumpin Pin before touching back down at Archerfield Airport.
Your pilot in accordance with Envonmental and Wildlife regulations will ensure that whales are not disturbed by the Helicopter
The Whale spotting season runs from June to October.
