Tackle the highest abseil in the world with this Adrenalin-pumping full day abseiling course! You'll gradually build up your skills with smaller abseils, before facing the ultimate 140m (450ft) abseil, which is the highest commercial abseil in the world

On the day of your adventure, you'll be led through basic safety guidelines, and given hints and tips on how to tackle the abseil more comfortably. You'll graduate from two smaller abseils (30m then 50m) before tackling the big kahuna - the 140m drop! It sounds frightening but the fully qualified and experienced instructors can guide even the most nervous participants to accept the challenge!

This is a full day tour. On the way to the Gordon Dam, you will pass through the rich pastures and hop fields of the Derwent Valley, in contrast to the beautiful south west wilderness and world heritage area. Please note that this experience runs every day, unless scheduled maintenance is required by the dam operators.

DON'T FORGET TO BOOK AHEAD! 3 weeks' notice of booking is required to secure access to the dam.

Our abseil with Chris & Rebecca was awesome. The only problem was the climb back up, this put Shaun off doing the 140m jump but didn’t stop me – wow absolutely a thrill. Chris was professional and informative which helped with the trust factor of the jump.

It was a fabulous day and a great introduction to abseiling! Our guide was great and we all had a fantastic time, we are all talking about our next abseiling trip already!

Nina and I had an awsome time, our guide Tom was extremely patient, informative and helpful. At no stage were we concerned about our safety. I have not stopped talking about the trip to all my friends and work collegues and plan doing the white water rafting adventure with Adrenalin next. Thanks again for a lifetime memory. Phil and Nina.
