Have you ever seen Hot Air Balloons floating silently above you? Join us on a Hot Air Ballooning adventure in the Hawkesbury and experience one of the most serene, enjoyable activities most of us will enjoy.

Rising before dawn, you can join the crew in unpacking and preparing the balloon for flight - which is a spectacle in itself! After an exhilarating launch, you'll drift with the wind silently over the river, hills and villages of the Hawkesbury region of Sydney. Of course you never know where you're going to end up as you can't steer balloons; to maneuver the balloon your pilot ascends or descends in altitude, catching different wind currents.

After landing you can help the crew pack the balloon away, which is a bit like packing up a 100ft tall sleeping bag! To top off the morning you'll celebrate with a optional Champagne breakfast at a gourmet venue (available at an additional fee of $30, payable on the day).

It was tops! A very strange sensation (there was none and could not hardly feel the flying) and i guess thats what made it so special - very gental easy going flight.

The balloon flight was fantastic it turned out to be a beautiful day. The breakfast was really nice as well. I especially enjoyed when we had to crawl on the balloon to deflate it. Thank you very much for organising it for me and Scott. Scott really enjoyed it, it worked out to be a great Christmas present - Melissa John and crew, we had the best day possible. My son and I have wanted to go up in a balloon for ages and always watched with envy on Australia Day at Parramatta park. Now we have been and you all helped to make the day even more fun. Thankyou

Experience Details

Fitness and Experience

You must be able to stand up for the duration of the Hot Air Balloon Flight, approximately 45-60 minutes
Please advise Adrenalin if you have any medical conditions
If you have any special dietary requirements for the optional champagne breakfast, please ensure you have noted this on the booking form
Pregnant ladies cannot participate in ground activities relating to inflating and deflating the balloon and are not permitted to fly in the balloon

What to Bring/Wear

We recommend you wear outdoor clothes (avoid whites) and some solid shoes as the ground is often covered with dew in the early morning
The temperature in the balloon is the same as on the ground
We move with the breeze so there is no wind chill factor
Bring sunglasses, cap and sunscreen
Your camera is a must. Be sure to have lots of film as this spectacular panorama is a photographer’s paradise!
Optional: $30 per person to pay for the full buffet champagne breakfast

More Information

The adventure begins by inflating the balloon using a giant portable fan. Once the balloon starts to take shape the burner is lit, heating the air inside. The hot air inside is lighter than the cool air outside and this is what creates the lift and why it is called a Hot Air Balloon. Passengers are welcome to assist the pilot and crew with inflating the hot air balloon at the launch site, which only takes about 20 minutes.

Hot Air Balloon Flights operate every weekend, weather permitting.
Weekday flights are available but subject to minimum numbers.
The meeting point is The Sebel Resort & Spa, Windsor.
The Hot Air Balloon adventure takes around 4 hours to complete of which approximately 45 minutes is actual flying time.
If you wish to join us for gourmet breakfast upon landing, please remember to bring $30 per person.
