Experience the wonder of a Hot Air Balloon Flight for 2 people. Rising before dawn, you can join the crew in unpacking and preparing the balloon for flight - which is a spectacle in itself! After an exhilarating launch, you'll drift with the wind silently over the parklands, homes and hills of the Hawkesbury region of Sydney.

Hot Air Ballooning begins in the cool, still hours of the early morning, when the air is more stable. The launch site, determined by the weather on the morning, will be in or around the beautiful Hawkesbury Valley. The adventure begins by inflating the balloon using a giant portable fan. Once the balloon starts to take shape the burner is lit, heating the air inside. The hot air inside is lighter than the cool air outside and this is what creates the lift and why it is called a Hot Air Balloon. Passengers are welcome to assist the pilot and crew with inflating the hot air balloon at the launch site, which only takes about 20 minutes.

The Hot Air Balloon Flight for 2 is both picturesque and tranquil. You hear very little sound from the awakening world below. The silence is only broken with blasts from the propane burner heating the air in your balloon to keep you cruising across the skies. Watch as the sun bursts from the horizon and paints the sky pink in a spectacular morning sunrise. To top off the morning, celebrate with a champagne breakfast (available at an additional fee of $30, payable on the day).

This adventure is priced for 2 people. There will be other people in the balloon basket with you.

I would like to recommend Adrenalin for anyone's hot air ballooning experience. I took my wife Gail for a surprise 40th birthday experience and it was really worth it. The balloon flight was fantastic it turned out to be a beautiful day. The breakfast was really nice as well. I especially enjoyed when we had to crawl on the balloon to deflate it. Thank you very much for organising it for me and Scott. Scott really enjoyed it, it worked out to be a great Christmas present - Melissa John and crew, we had the best day possible. My son and I have wanted to go up in a balloon for ages and always watched with envy on Australia Day at Parramatta park. Now we have been and you all helped to make the day even more fun. Thankyou

Thank you for a fabulous experience on Friday morning, 16th July. The ascent through the fog revealed a magnificent view of the Blue Mountains and sea of fog to the north. John, your skill in skimming Prospect Reservoir and the copy book landing in Kings Park, Fairfield, had to be experienced to be believed. Thanks for a great adventure and looking after.

Fitness and Experience

You must be able to stand up for the duration of the Hot Air Balloon Flight (approx 45 mins)
Please advise Adrenalin if you have any medical conditions
If you have any special dietary requirements for the optional champagne breakfast, please ensure you have noted this on the booking form
Pregnant ladies cannot participate in ground activities relating to inflating and deflating the balloon and are not permitted to fly in the balloon

What to Bring/Wear

We recommend you wear outdoor clothes (avoid whites) and some solid shoes as the ground is often covered with dew in the early morning
The temperature in the balloon is the same as on the ground
We move with the breeze so there is no wind chill factor
Bring sunglasses, cap and sunscreen
Your camera is a must. Be sure to have lots of film as this spectacular panorama is a photographer’s paradise!
$30 per person to pay for the optional champagne breakfast: bacon, egg, sausage, mushrooms, toast OR muesli, fresh fruit and yoghurt, plus juice, tea/coffee and Champagne. Please advise us of any special dietary requirements at time of booking

The Hot Air Balloon adventure takes around 4 hours to complete of which approximately 45 minutes is actual flying time.
