A romantic hot air balloon flight for 2 in Sydney!

If you have ever watched a hot air balloon in flight and wondered what it would be like to float above the treetops in one of the many colorful balloons you see, then it is time to stop wondering. The 2 of you deserve to treat yourselves to a very special hot air ballooning excursion. Anyone who has ever enjoyed the silent pleasure that comes with hot air ballooning will tell you that it is among the most romantic experiences in the world.

You'll meet before dawn and, if you want to, you can assist with inflating the balloon; an exciting experience in itself. Taking off is an exhilarating rush, with the balloon gently rising above the scenery below against the blast of the burners. After around an hour its time to land, where you can help to repack the balloon envelope before enjoying a champagne celebration with your pilot and balloon crew.

So you really can stop dreaming about taking that first hot air balloon ride, there is absolutely nothing stopping you from going on a fantastic journey. The 2 of you will share air space with the birds and begin to understand why the special experience of hot air ballooning has survived all these years...there is absolutely nothing else like it in the world!

This adventure is for 2 people. There will be other people in the balloon basket with you.

Experience Details

Fitness and Experience

Anyone who can climb into the basket and stand for 1hr is welcome to come ballooning
Let us know if you've got any medical or dietary requirements before you fly

What to Bring/Wear

Dress for the weather on the day as it's no hotter or colder once we're airborne
Bring shoes that don't mind getting muddy
A hat is recommended as the heat from the burners can be intense
Don't forget your camera!
$25 per person to pay for the optional champagne breakfast: bacon, egg, sausage, mushrooms, toast OR muesli, fresh fruit and yoghurt, plus juice, tea/coffee and Champagne. Please advise us of any special dietary requirements at time of booking

More Information

The meeting point is the Old Government House in the grounds of Parramatta Park. The balloon adventure takes around 4 hours to complete of which approximately 1 hour is actual flying time.

If you wish to join us for gourmet breakfast upon landing, please remember to bring $25 per person.
