Hot Air Ballooning - Hunter Valley
Equally thrilling and relaxing, a hot-air ballooning adventure is a pure and unforgettable experience – especially over the serene Hunter Valley. Depending on the wind direction, your flight will take you over the Hunter allowing unparalleled views of the spectacular rolling skyline, beautiful vineyards and farmlands. The still morning air makes flying conditions perfect during what is known in the hot-air ballooning industry as the "weather window", a gloriously peaceful time over the wine region.
The hot-air ballooning journey begins with a briefing by the pilot before you head to the launch site and, if you like, help prepare the hot-air balloon for flight. Thirty minutes later you'll be drifting gracefully over the countryside. The hot-air ballooning flight itself will last around one hour.
After gently touching down again a hot air ballooning flight certificate is distributed to all passengers, rounding off a fabulous adventure.

fitness and experience
- You must be able to stand up for the duration of the Hot Air Balloon Flight, approximately 45 minutes
- Please advise Adrenalin if you have any medical conditions
- If you have any special dietary requirements for the optional champagne breakfast, please ensure you have noted this on the booking form
- Pregnant ladies cannot participate in ground activities relating to inflating and deflating the balloon and are not permitted to fly in the balloon
what to bring/wear
- We recommend you wear outdoor clothes (avoid whites) and some solid shoes as the ground is often covered with dew in the early morning
- The temperature in the balloon is the same as on the ground
- We move with the breeze so there is no wind chill factor
- Bring sunglasses, cap and sunscreen
- Your camera is a must. Be sure to have lots of film as this spectacular panorama is a photographer’s paradise!
- $30 per person to pay for the optional champagne breakfast: bacon, egg, sausage, mushrooms, toast OR muesli, fresh fruit and yoghurt, plus juice, tea/coffee and Champagne. Please advise us of any special dietary requirements at time of booking

Your ground crew will also capture those moments that you can’t, as you take to the skies. These complimentary shots will then be emailed to you, so you can post them on your wall or send them on to friends and family and boast your latest experiences. Flights operate every weekend, weather permitting. Weekday flights are available but subject to minimum numbers. The balloon adventure takes around 4 hours to complete of which approximately 45 minutes is actual flying time.
If you wish to join us for gourmet breakfast upon landing, please remember to bring $30 per person.
