Equally thrilling and relaxing, a hot-air ballooning adventure is a pure and unforgettable experience – especially over the beautiful 'city of churches'. The still morning air makes flying conditions perfect during what is known in the hot-air ballooning industry as the "weather window", a gloriously peaceful time over an often hectic city.
The hot-air ballooning journey begins with a briefing by the pilot before you head to the launch site and, if you like, help prepare the hot-air balloon for flight. Thirty minutes later you'll be drifting gracefully over the countryside. The hot-air ballooning flight itself will last around one hour.
After gently touching down again a hot air ballooning flight certificate is distributed to all passengers, rounding off a fabulous adventure. The icing on the cake is a sumptuous Champagne breakfast – the perfect way to toast your hot-air ballooning adventure.

The five of us had a fabulous day . Way better than we expected . The brekky was yummy , especially the bread!!! We would all do it again . Thank you to the team , they do a great job .

Fitness and Experience
- No particular level of fitness or experience is required
- You should be able to stand for an hour, bend your knees a little and hold on with both hands to the rope handles inside the basket
What to Bring/Wear
- Wear comfortable clothing for the day – layers are best
- The temperature in the air when we are flying is the same as on the ground so dress for the season and the overnight temperature
- Wear sturdy flat soled walking shoes
- A hat as the burner gives off considerable heat
- Remember your camera! Balloons, sunrises and people make spectacular subjects
What is Supplied
- The balloon and of course a pilot and ground crew to guide you through the experience
- A fantastic champagne picnic breakfast
- Experience is for one person
