After the jet boat ventures out of the marina speed restricted zone, we unleash the full power of jet boating at nearly 75km/h, you'll blast out to sea to find the whales frolicking in their natural environment!

Sit back and hold on as we push the throttle and the jet boat engines release 25 tonnes of water per minute from their twin jets! The design is similar to those vessels utilised by the Malaysian Special Forces and the Hong Kong Water Police. (Minus the machine guns). OKIEDOKIE is powered with twin 440hp Yanmar Intercooled, Turbocharged Diesels and HAMILTON Jets.

Your Extreme Whale Watching is up to 90 minutes (Jetty to Jetty) of excitement and thrills.

Had a great time & as soon as we left the speed restriction area we came across a whale. Staff were pleasant & helpful & I have every intention of doing it again. Enjoyed the boat, it was perfect for the occasion & the power & ride was worth every cent.

The great thing about this whale watching trip is that you have fun getting there and getting back, in addition to having a longer time with the whales. You get out to the whales very quickly. Also, even though you're in a jet boat, the approach to the whales is very carefully managed. It was a serious whale watching adventure with a fast ride thrown in - not the other way round.

No particular level of fitness or experience is required
People with existing neck/back injuries or who are pregnant must not ride in the jet boat

What to Bring/Wear

Comfortable clothes suitable to the weather on the day – eg. Shorts, t-shirt and runners
Please bring your confirmation email with you on the day of your Jet Boat Ride – no confirmation, no ride

Professional captain
Lifejackets
All customers are required to wear either their own sunnies/glasses or to wear the safety glasses we supply
Lap belts are also to be worn at all times
Waterproof ponchos are available to purchase for $5

Tours depart 9am from late September to early December.

Passengers are required to sign a liability waiver prior to boarding.
