You will learn how to fly on the trapeze at Melbourne's newest indoor flying trapeze school and get a taste of what it’s like to be a trapeze performer! After a safety briefing, your training session will start with a run through of the procedures and basic body positions.

Then it's time to harness up and swing the trapeze! At the top of the ladder you'll be talked through how to do various moves based on your strength and skill level. After a few practice sessions you'll have the confidence to attempt a release and catch, where a trained professional will catch you after you - gulp - let go of the trapeze mid flight!

So whether you just want to try something new or if it is the beginning of a new fitness regime, flying the trapeze is suitable for anyone from age 6 and up that wants to learn to fly in complete safety! The session lasts 2 hours and your instructors are professional aerial artists that have worked in world-class aerial productions.

Fitness and Experience

No experience is required but this activity is physically challenging which requires quick reactions, flexibility and comfort with heights
All ages 6 and up welcome

What to Bring/Wear

Wear comfortable close fitting casual clothes without too many buttons or loose objects hanging off
Track pants, 3/4 length tights or pants that cover the backs of the knees (avoid jeans) with a t-shirt or sweatshirt and runners are perfect
You may wish to bring a bottle of water

Trapeze lessons take place at our indoor venue situated at Blackburn, Melbourne and are run regularly at the following times:

Tuesday
4pm-5:30pm Under 15s Beginner/Intermediate
5:30pm - 7pm Intermediate

Saturday
10am - 11:30am Beginner/Intermediate
12pm - 1:30pm Beginner/intermediate
2pm - 3:30pm Beginner/Intermediate

Sunday
10am - 11:30am Beginner/Intermediate
12pm - 1:30pm Beginner/intermediate
2pm - 3:30pm Beginner/Intermediate

8 Persons max per class.

Bookings are essential for all classes.
Classes subject to change due to weather.
