This is original cooking program for foodies keen to experience modern Lebanese cuisine. Held monthly, your experienced chef Norma will lead you on a 3-hour sensory adventure of the foods, flavours and aromas of Mediterranean Lebanon.

Utilising authentic ingredients which are readily available, herbs & spices, local & overseas produce, you will be part of a cooking class that will delight your palate and satisfy your curiosity about this ancient cuisine. Lebanese food is healthy, versatile and very economical. Discover how you can turn one recipe into two or three. Classes are filled with stories about the Lebanese culture, traditions and Norma's early childhood memories growing up in a tiny village in North Lebanon.

Learn how to make Kibbeh, Lebanon's national dish along with Tabbouleh, Hummus & Baqlawa! You'll enjoy a large sit down meal at the end of the cooking class served with homemade Lebanese cordial and finished with a shot of Lebanese coffee!

A family tradition based on hospitality, a strong sense of family and an immense passion for home-style Lebanese cooking; this embodies Norma’s style, character and her desire for all things culinary.

“An adventure, not just a cooking business” is the way Norma describes her venture. “It’s a unique experience to mix the culture, history and cooking methods in a way that stimulates your mind and taste buds” she adds.

Norma grew up in a migrant household where cooking and eating Lebanese food was an everyday occurance. Growing up in a big family with three sisters and a brother, her mother and sisters helped form the basis of her culinary background and her love of food.

On her recent trip to Lebanon, Norma realised the continued elegance of the Lebanese cuisine and its evolution through to modern day with minimal changes in style and taste. This reinforced Norma’s desire to tell her story through her cooking classes with an emphasis on tradition, history and culture.
