V8 Super Challenge Introductory - Sydney
Nothing shakes the body like the roar of a V8 race car, and nothing stirs the soul more than a session of hot laps in a V8 VX six-speed Commodore around Sydney's V8 race tracks, Eastern Creek or Oran Park Raceway. The V8 drive day begins with a briefing conducted by experienced race drivers. During a practical on-track session driving laps of the circuit, your driver will teach you techniques on cornering, apexes and exiting, efficient braking and acceleration, steering, gear changes and general car control. Safety and track awareness will also be discussed. There's plenty of time to ask questions so you'll feel completely comfortable before putting V8 race car theory into practice.
Then it's time to let loose your inner revhead during a session of real life V8 driving action. Each driver does eight full-pelt laps behind the wheel of their V8 Commodore. Then, just when you reckon you can drive a V8 like Mark Skaife, your experienced race driver will take control again for two more seriously quick V8 hot laps that you're not likely to forget for a very long time. To get the most out of your time at the track, you'll be driving on the short course to make learning the corners, apex and braking points a great deal faster. This means you spend your time concentrating on enjoying driving these powerful beasts, rather than learning the circuit.

Sardine Run With Michael Aw
This is at the top of every committed diver's list of things to do before you die, and has been called "The Greatest Show On Earth". This extravaganza only takes place between Port St. Johns and Durban along the South African East Coast during June and July. The South Coast of KwaZulu Natal stages 90% of this spectacle, due to the narrowing of the continental shelf. Every winter enormous shoals of sardines create an eruption of activity that attracts an abundance of predatory sea life. Boosting excitement levels are twenty thousand common dolphins, five thousand bottlenose dolphins, tens of thousands of gannets, thousands of sharks, seals and a collection of marine animals, ranging from the Brydes and Humpback Whales to the ever lurking game fish that arrive from all directions to gorge on these tasty morsels.A microlight is dispatched at dawn to search for the sardines, marked by swooping gannets and leaping fish on the surface. You help to launch the high speed RIB and race out to the bait ball, kitting up in your scuba gear on the way. Then it's into the water to witness the show. The dolphins herd the sardines into a tight ball and push them towards the surface, gannets fall like snow balls from the sky to feast, sharks, seals and whales are attracted to feed from the heaving bait-ball. The speed of the action is incredible and this is a truly humbling experience.
Your 11-day expedition includes full board, transfer from Durban, twin share 3 star comfort accommodation, dedicated microlight pilot, photographic tips, and your 9 day sardine run charter is included. The "Run" takes place during South Africa’s winter which is dry season. You'll also be travelling in good company as this expedition is led by one of the best wildlife and underwater photographers in the world. Twice winner of the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Michael Aw won Gold at the World Underwater Film Festival Antibes with his image captured from a sardine run.

4WD Cape York 18-day Expedition - QLD
Australia is a continent of diverse scenery and beautiful landscapes, many of which are only accessible by 4wd vehicles. Travelling in the bush and the outback can be exciting and at times dangerous and this gig is a perfect way for you and your mates to test out your 4WD to the limit.Cape York is one of Australia’s few remaining large wilderness areas, with few inhabitants or facilities. Access is by dirt road, air, or (along the coast) sea. The eastern edge is rainforest, but west of the Great Dividing Range the land is mainly eucalypt woodland, scrubland and grasslands. The numerous rivers vary from almost dry in the dry season (May-November) to overflowing in the wet season (December-April), when the road to the Cape becomes impassable.
Starting in a small convoy of 4WD vehicles from Cairns, you make your way toward the famous marker at the most northerly point of the Australian mainland. Along the way passing through beautiful rainforest and native bushland and crossing numerous rivers. Few places in Australia can match the beauty of Torres Strait and its islands. Your fully qualified and experienced personal tour guides are at your side throughout your entire journey. Bring your own 4WD or hire one.
