Water sports don't get much more exciting than the Ocean Extreme 2 Bondi Bash boat ride. You'll be taken on an exciting and unforgettable 90-minute journey on a giant purpose-built fast boat. Ocean Extreme 2 is powered by triple 300hp outboard engines, which can propel this vessel to speeds up to 50 knots (100km/h) – speeds far greater than a jet boat.

Your 90-minute high-speed Bondi Bash boat tour starts with a leisurely cruise out of Darling Harbour before turning up the power and blasting towards the open ocean. After passing through Sydney's heads, and out into the Pacific Ocean, you're taken South along the coast to one of the world's most recognised beaches. After a long and sweeping turn, the vessel will pull in for a memorable photo opportunity you won't get anywhere else, the water and sand being your only backdrop.

Ocean Extreme 2 has been purpose-built to exacting standards and undergone thorough testing; it's more than capable of handling the pace. Your crew are fully qualified and will point out places of interest along the way. The best and only way to see Bondi Beach!

The Bondi Bash is available only on Saturdays and Sundays at 01:30 PM.

For the person who has it all or hard to buy a fast boat ride up the coast of Sydney is perfect. It is nice to see the coastline from a differnet angle as well.

The best way to "site see" the harbour and beyond all the way around to Bondi - fast and furious. Not the thrill ride you get in a Jet boat, but there are some moents when your knuckles go white from hanging on. I recommend it for site-seeing , not for thrill riding

Fitness and Experience

No particular level of fitness or experience is required
Minimum height 150cm, minimum inside leg 80cm (31 inches) to straddle the seats
People with existing neck/back injuries or who are pregnant are strongly advised not to participate
Adventurers must be over 12 years

What to Bring/Wear

Comfortable clothes suitable to the weather on the day – eg. shorts, t-shirt and runners
Skirts are not a good idea as you will be straddling your seat
Sunscreen and sunglasses as the glare on the water can be quite fierce

What is Supplied

Optional life jackets are available and are recommended if you are not confident in the water
Wet weather gear and goggles are optional may be worn over normal clothing

AVAILABILITY Ocean Extreme operates every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month, and every Saturday & Sunday departing from Darling Harbour at 1.30pm (if this is full an additional trip may go out at 10.30am dependent on minimum numbers). If you have a group of adventurous friends or family and wish to book a different day, let us know
