Parasailing Solo - Melbourne
Whilst you stand on the platform of the parasail boat, your winch operator will deploy the parasail and connect your harness. Now you’re ready to launch. From the platform you are gently winched into the skies above Rye on the Mornington Peninsula on a 150 metre towline. Your maximum height from the water will be 100 metres. All that is required of you is to relax and enjoy the view! For a little added excitement, you can choose to be dipped in the water. The choice to get wet or stay dry is all yours! At the completion of your 10-15 minute ride you will be winched onto the boat platform once again.
This ‘cable/winch deck landing’ is the safest way to parasail. Solo and tandem parasail adventures are available. There are a maximum of 5 rides per hour meaning your time on the boat will vary from 30-60 minutes depending on how many people are flying.

This was an exhilarating way to see the harbour . Fantastic. Just glad the people on the boat could not hear the screams from above!!!!!!

it was such a great experience! i loved every bit of it! being out over the harbour in almost complete silence, with just the hum of the boat from down below, with the wind in my hair, i felt like i was flying...
I had an absolutely amazing time. I highly recommend this to everyone who has ever wished they could fly! This will probably be as close as i'll ever get to flying!

It was an awesome experience and enjoyed every moment of it whether it be waiting for my turn on the boat and actually being suspended up in the air.

What an easy way to get away from the usual mundane choirs of our daily lives. I would recommend anyone looking for something they would not normally think of doing, to get out there, shake off the cobwebs and do it. Next time I will go tandem parasailing with my husband and then try something else to get the adrenalin pumping!!

I would recommend adrenalin to anyone who is thinking of that hard to get present for someone.
