Parasailing Manly Tandem For 2 - Sydney
This is a tandem Parasail for 2 people. Parasailing on Sydney Harbour is a unique way to experience the Harbour and its surrounds. Better still, you don't need any experience. To embark on this unique experience from Manly Wharf, you will board the parasailing boat. While cruising out onto the water, each parasailor is briefed on how to get the most out of your experience and then it's time to kit up.
Whilst you stand on the platform of the parasail boat, your winch operator will deploy the parasail and connect your harness. Now you’re ready to launch. From the platform you and your friend are gently winched into the skies above Sydney Harbour on a 150 metre towline. Your maximum height from the water will be 100 metres. All that is required of you is to relax and enjoy the view! For a little added excitement, you can choose to be dipped in the water. The choice to get wet or stay dry is all yours! At the completion of your 8-10 minute ride you will be winched onto the boat platform once again.
Tandem parasail adventures are available for you and a friend. There is a maximum of 5 rides per hour meaning your time on the boat will vary from 30-60 minutes depending on how many people are flying.

We had a fantastic time depsite the weather looking a little grey on the day. It was an amazing experience being that high above the harbour, & I loved it despite a quesiness over heights.

Adrenalin.com has bn a fantastic site with so many options for adrenalin-seeking junkies like my boyfriend & I. Manly Parasailing was terrific! They were very safety conscious as it was quite a windy day yet did everything to make our ride memorable & fun.

I bought this parasailing gift for my sons birthdays (20 & 23), instead of trudging around shopping centres searching for the usual boring birthday pressies ( which quite frankly I don't have time to do), I purchased online with Adrenalin! all to easy! We arranged to meet other family at Manly, had a lovely lunch, then we all got to see the boys do there parasailing, what a great family day!!

Fitness and Experience
- No fitness or experience is required
- This is an experience for anyone who wants to see Sydney from a new perspective
- You should feel confident around water
- Minimum age is 10 years
- Any parasailor between the ages of 10 and 14 must fly tandem with an adult
What to Bring/Wear
- Wear clothes suitable to the weather on the day
- No dresses or skirts
- As you launch from a sitting position, white or light coloured pants may get a little dirty
- If you wish to get wet, wear a swimsuit and leave a change of clothes and a towel in the car
- Thongs are fine, you will be barefoot for the actual parasail
- Sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses are a great idea for in the boat
- A waterproof camera to capture the action
- A friend to ride in the boat
- One spectator per parasailor is permitted at approx $15.00 for adults and $7.50 for children over 10
What is Supplied
- A professional parasailing crew and all technical equipment
- A personal flotation device (life jacket) which must be worn
- Incredible views of Sydney suburbs and waterways
More Information
THE SEASON STARTS IN NOVEMBER AND CONTINUES UNTIL LATE APRIL. During this time, rides operate most weekends, mornings and afternoons and also midweek on demand. Simply nominate your preference. The parasail area encompasses Manly Cove to the Watsons Bay side of Sydney Heads. The exact location of your flight will depend on the wind direction and strength on the day. No transport is provided but access to Manly is simple. Catch a Manly Ferry (30 minutes) or a Jetcat (15 minutes) from Circular Quay to Manly Wharf. Buses are also available, simply call 131 500 for Sydney transport information.
Waterproof cameras can be purchased on board the boat for $10, these can be taken up with you during the parasail.
