Quad Biking - 3.5 hour Undoolya Discovery Tour, Alice Springs
Experience the unique scenery of the Red Centre on your own easy to operate 4-wheel quad bike! Safety training is provided and before long you’re ready to take off on your quad bike through Undoolya Station. You will follow your expert local guide, and have time to take in the spectacular beauty of your remote desert location. Travelling on all fours allows you to be close to nature with a chance to spot kangaroos, dingoes and birdlife, each tour is a unique experience.
These tours have been developed to give visitors to Central Australia an opportunity to enjoy an exhilarating and safe ride on a quad bike amongst some of the most spectacular outback scenery only 17km from Alice Springs - “Today’s Modern Day Horseback!”.
All levels of ability are challenged on our adventure packed tours! This tour is 3.5 hours duration – includes approx 2.5 hour ride.

Fitness and Experience
- Anyone above the age of 12 years (12-16 years must be accompanied by an adult and have parental consent)
- Children under 12 can travel as a pillion passenger on the guide's bike
- No licence is required, moderate physical fitness required
- Only one person per bike allowed
What to Bring/Wear
- Long pants and covered footwear
- Sunscreen and sunglasses
- Camera – must be able to carry in a dust proof case over the shoulder or bring a backpack or similar as there are no storage facilities on the bike

- All tours include return transfers from all Alice Springs accommodation houses
- Full safety brief and practice ride
- Helmet and hand held radio provided for safety
- Bottled water

When can I ride? Tours operate daily except for Christmas Day and New Years Day. Tour times are as follows: Apr-Oct: 0800 or 1400hrs Nov-Mar: 0700 or 1500hrs
