What a rush! This is an awesome introduction to the adrenalin-fuelled world of rally driving in real competition vehicles. Take your choice of rally car from a fleet of Australian Rally Championship spec super cars, including the Subaru WRX STi and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo.

You are given four rally driving sessions behind the controls of a minimum of two different cars over the rally driving dirt circuit layout, for a total of 24 laps of the 'Rally Practice Stages'. You’ll be taught mind-blowing professional rally driving techniques which, in addition to getting the most out of these high-performance rally driving vehicles on the day, will also make your everyday driving safer and more enjoyable.

Finally, to top off the rally driving course, you’ll be strapped into the co-driver's seat and taken for a humbling rally hot lap blast by one of our professional rally drivers, and these guys don't hold back!

fitness and experience

The course is an introduction to rally and is suitable for all ages and levels of driving experience
Minimum age is 16 years, or 15 years with a CAMS licence
You need to have a drivers licence, although the instructors will accept a driver who may have temporarily lost their licence
The cars are manual transmission and you will need to be able to competently drive a manual road car
There are height and weight restrictions
Maximum weight is 120kg
Minimum height is 130cm and maximum height is 193cm
Please advise us of any medical conditions/medications at the time of booking

what to bring/wear

It is requested for safety purposes that you wear cotton, close fitting clothing with long legs, eg trousers, jeans, etc. NO SHORTS
Closed-in shoes/runners
Sunscreen, hat and sunglasses for between drives

what is supplied

Helmets
Cars - Subaru WRX Sti, Mitsubishi Evolution, fitted with roll cages and 4 point harnesses
Morning or afternoon tea including refreshments and snacks throughout the session
24 laps driving on the ‘Rally Practice Stages’
One championship pace 'Hot Lap' in the co-drivers race seat

When and where can I drive? The 4WD Rally Driving sessions are scheduled on selected weekends throughout the year at Bakers Hill, Perth. Sessions commence at 8.30am.

What about transport? There is no transport provided for this experience.

What about photos/videos? Bring along your camera and/or video camera to capture the action on film. It’s great to have evidence to show off to your mates later on. What about spectators? Spectators are welcome to come along.

Refreshments on the half day for guests are available at a cost of $5 per head.

Substitution of cars: In the unlikely event that any car is damaged, and it is not safe or possible to continue, every reasonable effort will be made to provide a back up vehicle. The back up vehicle will be another rally car and may be two-wheel drive.
