Welcome to the thrill and exhilaration of a Volvo 60 maxi yacht right here on Sydney’s iconic Harbour! Sailing on a 60 foot racing yacht is a unique and memorable experience for everyone who comes out for a sail.
Imagine a powerful, sleek Volvo 60 Ocean Racing Maxi yacht still in complete racing mode. Built for the Volvo Ocean Race - a race around the world over a 9 month period, which takes place every three years. Fitted with water ballast these boats are capable of speeds in excess of 25 knots.
By coming aboard, you will get a true insight into what Round the World Ocean Racing is like as you actively participate in the sailing of this yacht with our professional crew. It will provide an experience on Sydney Harbour that you will never forget.
Weekend tours depart 10:00 AM and last around 2.5 hours. Midweek twilight sails commence 5:00 PM.

Fitness and Experience
- No sailing experience is necessary - join in as much or as little as you wish
- Though you choose your level of participation, it's a good idea to have a basic level of fitness in order to maneuver yourself around the boat when underway
- No minimum age within reason, youngsters under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
What to Bring/Wear
- Wear comfortable clothes and bring a jumper or windproof jacket
- Wear non-marking, soft soled, enclosed shoes, e.g. boat shoes, sneakers/runners
- Be sun smart and bring a hat/cap, sunglasses and sunscreen
- Please note that all belongings will be stored below deck for the duration of the trip

Weekend tours depart 10:00 AM and last for three hours. Midweek twilight sails commence 5:00 PM and also last 3 hours.
You will be sailing aboard the divisional winner of the 2008 Sydney to Hobart ocean yacht race, after saving the crew from the sinking yacht Georgia!
The vessel is also the current record holder for the Gosford to Lord Howe Ocean Race.
A minimum number of 10 paying customers is required for trip to go ahead (max 20).
