Take the plunge, dive in at the deep end for the ultimate challenge. Your thrilling underwater guided tour will bring you face-to-face with Grey Nurse and Sandbar Whaler Sharks, Giant Stingrays and hundreds of exotic fish.

The dive is suitable for non-divers (a brief resort dive course is included) and certified divers. It makes a great gift for your friends or family.

Experience Details
Fitness and Experience
- Scuba diving at the Melbourne Aquarium is available to all people over the age of 15 years
- You do not require prior Scuba diving experience
- You will be required to produce evidence of a recent Diving Medical (at own expense) in order to participate in the shark dive if you are affected by any of the following: Asthma, collapsed lung or other lung diseases, brain, spinal cord or nervous disorder, internal chest surgery or heart disease, chronic sinus conditions, ear surgery or perforated eardrum, epilepsy, diabetes, high blood pressure (hypertension) or if you are taking certain prescribed medications
- Please note that you will need to complete a Medical Declaration for Resort Diving and send it back at least 1 week prior to your dive
What to Bring/Wear
- Towel and swimmers
- Completed medical form (You should have sent this medical form back prior to the day of your actual dive. This gives us the chance to advise you if you will require a diving medical)
- If you wear glasses you may consider wearing soft contact lenses for the day or arrange a prescription mask
- Food and drinks if required
- Your booking confirmation
What is Supplied
- All SCUBA equipment - including wetsuit, hood and gloves
- Qualified divers to guide you on your experience
- 1 hour ‘introduction to scuba diving’ theory session
- A confined water training session
- 30 minute session in the aquarium
- Certificate
- An housed Imtova CP9 underwater camera is available to purchase on the day for $169
