Looking for an unforgettable way to propose? How about a skydive into a beautiful vineyard, with a with a glass of wine followed by a gorgeous 2 course meal after touch down (why not invite some friends or family to up the stakes?). Your day with us includes your tandem sky diving, a 2-course lunch (from a selected menu) and a glass of Rochford Yarra Valley Wine. A "WILL YOU MARRY ME" banner which is visible from the air can be erected at the drop zone free of charge.

Your day will begin with a briefing with your tandem instructor. This includes what to expect, what you will see on the plane flight to height, in freefall, under canopy and upon landing.

Once we have familiarised you it's time to gear up. You will be given a jumpsuit and your instructor will fit you into a harness. You will then head out to the plane, where you will practice your exits. Once completed, it's time to get in the plane and get ready for take-off! You can expect to jump from a height of 10,000ft.

Once we reach height, it will be time to prepare for the jump. The door opens and it's now time for you to take a step into a brave new world! You and your tandem master will accelerate through the air, reaching speeds of up to 220km/h. Freefall feels like riding a cushion of air and your senses will take in views as far as the eye can see. Finally, it's time to deploy your parachute.

From the loud rushing of air that you hear all around you, the parachute ride is very different as you sail round the sky, gliding slowly to the ground. The landing is easy, just lift your legs and let your tandem instructor touch down first. Now landing back on the ground into Rochford Winery to enjoy a glass of wine and a 2-course lunch.

We may need to ask you some basic questions about your health. Should you have any doubts it is best to consult your doctor
Maximum weight 105kg
Minimum age to skydive is 14, minimum age for wine tasting is 18

What to Bring/Wear

Dress comfortably. Shorts and T-shirts in summer, jumpers in winter, comfortable shoes (Cross-trainers etc. Nothing with hooks!)
All other required gear will be issued to you at the club
$25.00 per person for Australian Parachute Federation which is payable on the day.

Please note there is an additional Australian Parachute Federation levy of $25.00 per person for all jumps.

We won't spoil your surprise!

To make sure that it stays a secret, we won't mention that you will be proposing on your confirmation letter. This means that your future husband/wife will think that they are just going on a normal skydive.
