Sydney Skywalk is an exhilarating 40 minute outdoor experience on top of Sydney Tower, a breath-taking 260 metres above the harbour city.

Walk across Sydney's skyline, more than a quarter of a kilometre up above the city. Skywalk will literally send you over the edge, take in sensational views of Sydney from a series of purpose-built steel walkways as well as glass floor viewing platforms suspended over the Tower's edge.

Your skywalk will begin with a safety briefing inside the Tower before you are fitted with protective Skysuits and prepared to venture out onto the roof. Harnessed to safety rails by sliding cables, you will be escorted along two purpose-built steel walkways and platforms by Skyguides pointing out the city's geographical, historical and cultural landmarks. Entrance to the 4D Cinema and Sky Tower are included in the price.

i enjoyed the sky walk ride from open gallery. sydney city looks most beautiful fm the top. it is very safe ride and staff gave all information about sydney .one should go for that. vandana 2-10-10

Having received the skywalk as a gift and given my distinct dislike for heights, I was extremely hesitant about the experience but, having now experienced the walk which despite all my prior fears, was a fantastic thrill I have since purchased two skywalks as as gifts for family members and would highly recommend it to others.The staff on the day were extremely helpful and courteous and the guide on the day was a lot of fun ( putting even the most nervous customers like me, at ease) and very informative - great experience!

Would do it agin with someone who has not done it...... Good weather would be better, as you would see more and could talk about more with the guides.

Fitness and Experience

You must not suffer from any medical conditions that prevent you from comfortably and safely completing your Skywalk
There is a minimum age of 10 years old, to ensure the Skysuit & safety harness fit securely
Under 18 years must be accompanied by a paying adult

Comfortable clothing suitable to the weather on the day
Enclosed shoes with no open toes, that offer support, grip and suitable for walking

More Information

Skywalk departs every day of the week, all year except for Christmas day from 9am and is located on the roof of Sydney Tower. Your experience will commence within 45-minutes of your arrival time.

Entrance to Sydney Tower and the 4D Cinema (rrp$24.50) are included in the price. the 4D Cinema is the largest simulated ride in the southern hemisphere and the only one of its kind in Australia. OzTrek takes you on a virtual adventure across Australia’s cultural history and geography, where diverse Australian landscapes are brought to life with a unique integration of 3D holographic technology, animated models and scenic art.

Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure you do not drink alcohol prior to your Skywalk, as all Skywalkers will be breath tested upon check-in. You will not be permitted to take part if your Blood Alcohol Concentration is 0.05% or greater, or if you are under the influence of drugs (legal or illegal). If you refuse to be breath tested then you cannot talk part, & there will be no refund of your ticket price. No loose items can be taken on Skywalk, including cameras, cam-corders and mobile phones. Your Skywalk guide will take photos for you, & there are also fixed cameras on the viewing platforms. These photos will be available to purchase at the end of your Skywalk, from the Skyshop on Podium Level. You can purchase printed copies or a CD of images.
