Surfing, Learn to Surf at Maroubra, 3 Lesson Package - Sydney

Have you ever wanted to know what it's like to ride a wave? Are you keen on the idea of surfing? Now you can get a taste of surfing at Maroubra Beach. Maroubra is recognised as a National Surfing Reserve, offering great waves on one of Sydney’s last unspoilt city beaches. It is a mix between city life and untouched coastal scenery. There's no better way to start surfing than with three progressive lessons to teach you how to surf and then improve and refine your technique. This program works so well that the instructors even guarantee that they'll have you standing after three lessons or else give you free additional lessons until you do. The program is done at your own schedule, so you can surf three days in a row, or spread them out over weeks or even months - it's up to you. Your first surf lesson will teach you all of the basic surfing fundamentals. During your remaining two lessons, you spend more time in the water improving and expanding your abilities. If you're looking to build up your confidence in the surf and get up on your feet in no time, this is the way to go. Techniques you will learn: surf awareness and safety, surfing etiquette, surf fitness - warm-ups and stretches, standing up and timing, paddling techniques - getting out the back, catching waves and wave selection, beginner turning and equipment selection advice. Two hours each session - 6 hours total. All lessons must be taken by the same person.
