Tiger Moth Aerobatics Flight, 25-minute - Melbourne
Aerobatics, sometimes referred to as acrobatics, is an aerial roller coaster ride. Harnessed into an open-cockpit vintage Tiger Moth aircraft, you will experience the true freedom of flight as your pilot manoeuvres the plane in three dimensions. Your flight will start off with simple aerobatic manoeuvres - such as a loop or barrel roll. At the end of each manoeuvre your pilot will check how you're feeling and if you're ready for the next challenge, before going on to complete a full set of aerobatic manoeuvres.
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be given a pre-flight safety briefing. The briefing includes an overview of the flight detailing what you can expect and how to get the most out of your aerobatic experience. The flight itself will involve a range of aerobatic and tactical manoeuvrers which all add up to one huge roller-coaster ride!
As the co-pilot you will have complete control over how much aerobatics you do and the intensity level. Your flight path will take you on a scenic journey over the beaches and hills of the south western suburbs of Melbourne. This flight is approximately 25 minutes.
This package is strictly for the adrenalin junky. From the front seat of the Tiger Moth you can experience the same sensations and excitement as a WW1 pilot experienced in his open cockpit bi-plane fighter more than 90 years ago.
