A creative & unique team building experience. Contrary to popular opinion, communicating naturally and confidently about wine depends more on personal expression than on an encyclopedic knowledge of varieties and vintages.
This four hour session is based on a unique wine conversational method “Turning Wine into Words” developed by the authors Evan Mitchell and Brian Mitchell, and introduced in their books “Drinking Your Own Words” and “The Psychology of Wine”.
The session requires no specific prior knowledge of wine and is as beneficial for wine novices as for dedicated wine lovers. After the principles of the method are soundly established, the teams compete in a series of challenges working together to build on existing workplace relationships in a fun but relaxing environment. Individuals' ideas are assimilated and built into team responses, in competition with other teams.
During this session team members are taken outside of their comfort zones, enhancing individual confidence while also being encouraged to embrace others’ points of view. Individual benefits include greater competence in work team situations, and a more confident conversational approach in social dining situations. Team building benefits include increased camaraderie and a process for encouraging the flow of creative ideas.
