V8 Racecar Driving - Taupo, NZ
The thrill of driving a race-prepared V8 Racecar around a full-sized race track is one few will forget. Usually reserved for professional drivers, this adventure gives the opportunity for a spirited drive in either a Holden or Ford V8 Racecar at race speeds!
Expect a tea or coffee over a full safety briefing and introduction with an experienced and professional instructor. Then it's on with the helmet, race-suit and gloves for a track briefing, with emphasis on braking points, racing lines and acceleration techniques. With the instructor at your side you are set to go with some blistering adrenalin-fuelled laps of Taupo International Raceway. 2-way radio communication is installed to make sure you get the most from the experience.

Fitness and Experience
- For the V8 drive experience you must have a current drivers license and experience in a manual transmission car
- No real fitness is required but if you have any medical concerns or dietary restrictions, please advise us as soon as possible so that we may accommodate you
What to Bring/Wear
- You must bring your drivers license on the day
- Wear clothes appropriate for weather on the day
- Wear a comfortable pair of enclosed shoes
- Bring sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses on hot sunny days
- Definitely bring your camera

- Briefing about the ride, racing and safety
- Full instructor and DVD tuition for driving courses by professional race drivers
- 1 observation lap as a passenger prior to driving the car
