Nothing shakes the body like the roar of a V8 race car, and nothing stirs the soul more than a driving session in a race-prepared V8 Holden Commodore or Ford Falcon around the driving centre.

The V8 drive experience begins with a briefing conducted by experienced race drivers, duiring observation laps of the track driven by your instructor. Safety and track awareness will also be discussed.

Then it's time to let loose your inner revhead during a session of real life V8 driving action. Each driver does 6 laps behind the wheel of their V8 Commodore or Falcon for 6 seriously quick V8 laps that you're not likely to forget for a very long time.

fitness and experience

For the V8 drive experience you must have a current drivers licence and experience in a manual transmission car
No real fitness is required but if you have any medical concerns or dietary restrictions, please advise us as soon as possible so that we may accommodate you
Anyone found to be over 0.00% will not be permitted to participate

what to bring/wear

You must bring your drivers licence on the day
Wear clothes appropriate for weather on the day
Wear a comfortable pair of enclosed shoes
Bring sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses on hot sunny days
Definitely bring your camera

A fleet of Commodores and Falcons have been purpose-built for the V8 Super School. The vehicles are presented in a selection of V8 Supercar team livery designs including Morris’ Sirromet Wines team, Castrol Edge, Marcos Ambrose-Team Australia, Jeldwen and Orrcon. All vehicles are equipped with a safety roll cage, racing seats and harnesses, full race aero kits, quick-shift gearboxes, Supercar-like suspension and slick racing tyres.
