the Variety Santa Fun Run
Variety, the Children’s Charity, organises an annual Santa Fun Run event which attracts thousands of participants to run, walk and wheel through the CBD in order to raise funds for children across Australia.
Last year Sydney’s George Street was completely shut down as the city was painted red and white by a sea of Santas. International and national media covered the festive event and the city of Sydney looked sensational! Albert Park Lake saw the inaugural event in Melbourne, thousands of entrants making history in the Victorian capital. Meanwhile in Perth, over 1,000 jolly Santas completed the 4km course creating a sea of red around the River Torrens.
Adrenalin organised promotional events in the lead up, including a fleet of Santas abseiling down the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney and the Langham Hotel in Melbourne. Variety Children didn’t miss out on the fun, enjoying various Adrenalin activities including Jet Boating, Race Car Rides with Jim Richards and Harley Davidson joy rides.
