Start the day with a gentle paddle which gives you a chance to gain confidence on the river, then hang on tight and experience the thrill of rapids such as ‘Bob’s Calamity, ‘Rollercoaster’, ‘Playpen’, and ‘Big Rock Rapid’. No experience is necessary, so it is great for the whole family.

Experience Details
Fitness and Experience
- An average level of fitness is required; no previous white water experience is necessary
- If you are over 13 years of age, love the outdoors and feel comfortable in the water, you are in for a great time!
- If you have any medical conditions or dietary requirement that may be relevant please inform the staff at Adrenalin and your guides prior to the trip
What to Bring/Wear
- Day pack for personal items
- Hat, sunscreen and insect repellent
- Hair band to tie back long hair
- Any personal medication
- First aid kits are carried on river trips
- Sunglasses - retainer strap for all glasses and sunglasses is recommended
- Should you depend on glasses or contact lenses for comfort or survival, we strongly advise bringing a second pair
- Clothing - comfortable loose clothing (tracksuit pants, polo shirt, old jumper, etc)
- Consider including: bathers, thermal underwear, two pairs of socks, tracksuit pants, polo shirt, old jumper, etc)
- Plastic bags to store wet items
- Footwear – enclosed footwear must be worn on the water ie runners, wetsuit booties or enclosed reef shoes. Bring a second pair of shoes, as one pair will get wet
- Bring a wetsuit if you prefer to wear your own
- Rain jacket, this will help to keep you comfortable in inclement weather
- Towel
- Camera. Alternatively, the crew will be taking photos, which can be purchased
- Do NOT bring/wear jewellery such as necklaces, bracelets, earrings, etc

- An experienced guide either in your croc or escorting you from a kayak
- All necessary equipment for a safe and exciting adventure
- Complete safety and paddle briefing
- First aid kits
- $10 million Public Liability Insurance
- “Wake Up” hot drink and pastries on arrival

More Information
What about photos? Our guides will shoot at various vantage spots during the day and proofs are available for viewing and purchase soon after the trip. We will do our best to ensure memories of your trip are captured. Transport? Transport to and from the river launch point is provided. The trip departs from Welshpool at 6.45am, returning at approximately 5.30pm. When can I raft? This full day of white water, adrenalin pumping action operates every Saturday and Sunday from June until September with time on the river lasting 5 hours and includes rapids between grades 2-4. Mid week trips can also be organised for group bookings
