Amidst the peaceful bush clad valley, the Kaituna River drops away providing 14 awesome Grade 4 and 5 Pool & Drop-pool rapids, including 3 waterfalls - one being the world-renowned 7 metre Tutea Falls! (Rapids are graded from 1-5, with 1 being easiest and grade 5 being the highest grade permitted for commercial rafting groups). The Kaituna snakes through steep canyons, providing 1.8 kilometres of white water action.
